PES are pleased to announce that they now have a solution for the obsolete Yanmar 3TNV82A-KWA fitted to older Thwaites 2 tonne and 2.5 tonne machines.
Due to emissions the Yanmar 3TNV82A-KWA is no longer available, in the current Thwaites 2 tonne and 2.5 tonne range they are fitting the Yanmar 3TNV88-BWWA which is downrated to meet the regulations. This Yanmar 3TNV88-BWWA is the same engine that is fitted to the Thwaites 3 tonne machines but it is not a direct replacement for the 3TNV82A-KWA and therefore cannot be fitted.
PES, as the largest Yanmar engine distributor in the UK, have secured a batch of Yanmar 3TNV82A that are able to be fitted to your Thwaites dumper. These engines do not have the HOP on the timing cover which drives the hydraulic pump which operates the steering and tipping functions on your Thwaites dumper. If you need a Yanmar 3TNV82A-KWA for your Thwaites dumper drain the fluid from it, remove it from the machine and secure it to a pallet and ring Dave on 01392 882220. He will arrange collection and PES will carry out a front engine change and use your existing timing cover and HOP from your original Yanmar 3TNV82A-KWA engine and fit it to the new replacement Yanmar 3TNV82A. You will receive back a brand new Yanmar engine with the full manufacturer’s warranty ready to drop straight into your Thwaites dumper getting it back to work, earning money, as soon as possible.
