PES Plant can supply a new replacement Yanmar 3TNV70 engine for the above Takeuchi excavators for £2450 plus vat and with free delivery until 28 February 2021, a considerable saving over the price of an OEM replacement engine. This is a brand new engine complete with Yanmar starter motor and Yanmar alternator and with the full Yanmar warranty. Unlike engines supplied by other engine suppliers, this engine does not have the PTO on the timing cover and therefore is suitable for the Takeuchi TB216, Takeuchi TB219 and Takeuchi TB217R without having to do a front engine strip down because the PTO aperture stops the engine fitting.
Considering a cylinder head is over £1200 it makes the Yanmar 3TNV70 fitted into the Takeuchi uneconomical to repair. Why not order a new engine, receive it the next day and fit it and your machine will have the minimum of downtime.
