Paul Rodwell, area Sales Manager for Thwaites dumpers, recently visited us in Exeter and presented us with a unique piece of art featuring a cabbed Thwaites 9 tonne dumper painted by Ian Cook of Pop Bang Art. The painting was done using remote control cars, a truly unique way of creating art which gives the work a storyline not normally associated with paintings. Who needs paintbrushes when you can create a work out art using remote control cars but such is the uniqueness of this piece I don’t think sales of paintbrushes are going to plummet, after all it takes a special talent to be able to create something of this standard.
Its over 15 years since PES became a Thwaites dealer and in this time, amongst other achievements, have supplied over 200 Thwaites dumpers to the Channel Islands and placed its biggest ever single stock order for Thwaites parts of over £185K. Both PES and Thwaites have a similar ethos which has resulted in Thwaites being the market leader in dumper machinery sales and PES being the market leader in dumper parts sales.
PES would like to thank both Paul for coming all the way down here to deliver us the picture and Thwaites for their generosity in supply it. The photo shows Paul presenting it to Mike, Laura and Jim and the picture proudly fixed in place at the office in Exeter with both companies looking forward to another 15 years of a good working relationship that is mutually prosperous.
