PES have decided to renew their sponsorship deal with Teignmouth Airshow for the 2023 event. The air show is the largest free event in the area and attracts up to 40,000 people into the town to watch the event on the seafront which in 2022 brought the famous Red Arrows to the town for the first time. As a true community event benefitting both local people and town centre hospitality business’s as well as bringing Teignmouth’s name to a truly global audience, PES feel that it is an event that is worthy of support with a small group of volunteers working exceptionally hard against all the odds to put on.
It’s a shame that the local town council don’t feel that an event that brings the community together in their own town doesn’t warrant support, it appears they would rather spend £10k on putting a Christmas tree up for a couple of weeks……………………….oh well, that’s politics for you.
