Description

The Volvo ECR50F evolved from the previous ECR50D with more power and a host of other improvements. Powered by a Volvo 31.2kw Tier 5 engine with a 6000 hour DPF service interval driving a load sensing hydraulic system producing an impressive 36.2 kN break out force, you can assured there’s enough grunt to tackle the most arduous of tasks without compromising on fuel efficiency due to the power on demand hydraulic supply. With the all new ECO mode up to a further 10% reduction in fuel can be achieved by pressing the ECO button in the cab without compromising on performance in most operating conditions.  The auto-idle and auto-shutdown functions further increase fuel efficiency adding to the already frugal consumption whilst having the minimum environmental impact. The Volvo ECR50F benefits from a large spacious cab with superb all-round vision with built in sound and vibration insulation keeping the operator in a comfortable, safe environment. A new  5” colour display instrument panel and intuitive jogwheel for navigation are an improvement on the old D series replacing the old analogue panel with gauges .The multi-adjustable seat and console are mounted on the same suspension platform enabling them to move as one while the ergonomical positioned controls and fingertip lever proportional hydraulics on auxillary circuits mounted on the pods leaves a clear, uncluttered floor. There are four pre-programmed adjustable settings controlled via the keypad so various attachments can be swapped and used instantly and the flows can be independently changed in each direction. Volvo’s patented hydraulic filter enables oil to be filtered when topped up or changed and before the oil is returned to the tank from the drain lines, the clear bowl enabling easy contamination checks.
