Description

The Volvo EC20E is powered by a Volvo D0.9A engine driving a variable displacement piston pump. The new E series range has the same high-profile cast counterweight as the smaller excavators in the range, the innovative design giving it un-parralled protection in confined spaces preventing the rear engine damage often associated with this size of machinery.  With 50 hour greasing intervals and unprecedented levels of componentry access ease of maintenance is unrivalled amongst its competitors. Hydraulic hoses are routed through the boom to avoid damage whilst working and the lower front window is removable and has the ability to be stored out of harms way. Variable width undercarriage allows the machine to get through a 1m gap and then expand out to 1.35m for maximum stability. With 1320kg combined digging force and a 13% increase in traction the Volvo EC20E is a tough workhorse whilst providing the operator with a clutter free floor with large tracking pedals and fingertip controls with adjustable hydraulic flow. The machine clever machine design means the right hand frame corner, swing post and cylinder stay within the tracks resulting in maximum visibility avoiding machine damage whilst working  along side obstacles. The four easily accessed tie down points and automatic slew lock make the EC20E a safe and easily transportable machine giving it the feel of a small machine with a big machine performance. Options such as control lock for operator presence or seat belt activation coupled with auto engine shutdown means the Volvo EE20E can be easily configured to your requirements.
