Description
Cable general fits 9 tonne mach 190 Thwaites dumper 1999 when fitted with a ITL 5 wheel studded axles, over centre handbrake lever and round handbrake pads located on rear of transmission. Cable is approximately 1930mm long with a fixed clevis either end, the outer sleeve is approximately 1750mm long from the tip of the thread one end which has an adjuster nut to the tip of 19mm metal sleeve with fixing circlip the other end.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
