Handbrake cable Thwaites 3-4.5ton Dana spicer axles

Description

Cable general fits Thwaites 3 to 4.5 tonne Thwaites dumper when fitted with a dana spicer axles, over centre handbrake lever and the cable goes to rear axle. Cable is approximately 1375mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a 5/16 unf threaded bar with a clevis on the axle end, the outer sleeve is approx. 1170mm long from the tip of the thread one end which has two adjuster nuts to the tip of the thread the other end which also has two adjuster nuts.

The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
