When Mecalac announced that they were moving their stores to new premises in Coventry and there would be a bit of disruption to the supply of spare parts for the Mecalac range of dumpers, here at PES we thought ‘a bit’ would be a slight under-estimation.
Having moved premises ourselves, albeit 75 yards to our new premises 15 years ago and seen when Epiroc moved spares back to Germany, Terex moved their parts to Germany and then back again the planned ‘little bit of disruption’ always turns into a major catastrophe…………. and we were right.
As soon as we were told of the move Marc, our Parts Manager, got the metaphorical company cheque book out and ordered over £100K worth of Mecalac stock over and above what we normally keep. That’s why our shelves have been bursting with Mecalac parts and we are even supplying the Mecalac dealer network!!
When you are the UK’s largest dumper parts supplier you can remain on your pedestal when you have talented, experienced parts people who can use the knowledge and experience they have gained to keep you there.
Hopefully normality will come back to Mecalac but until then you can be assured that the UK’s largest supplier and stockists of Thwaites, Terex, Terex/JCB, Mecalac and Barford will be at the forefront of keeping your machines on the road earning money.
