They are at it again!!!! For those people that have purchased Terex and then Mecalac dumpers in the last ten years and remember the parts supply warehouse roaming the world like a Nomad in the desert, well they’re at it again. So far we have had Warwick to Coventry, Coventry to Rattenburg, Rattenburg to Coventry and now we have another move but luckily just a short distance down the road as they are staying in Coventry.
Every time they move there is a massive element of disruption as they close the warehouse, box everything up, move, unpack it and re-stock the shelves. So today is the last day to get any spare parts for you Mecalac, Terex or Terex/JCB until 24 April but, as most of these moves end up going horribly wrong, I think you can kiss goodbye to anything leaving the Mecalac warehouse for the month of April.
‘What am I supposed to do’ I hear all you Mecalac, Terex and Terex/JCB dumper owners say. Being a specialist means you have a bit of expertise and experience and guess what, when we were notified about this a few weeks ago out came the cheque book and in came double the amount of Mecalac, Terex, Terex/JCB dumper parts to get us over this period. Here at PES our motto is ‘if you haven’t got it you can’t sell it’ and if we haven’t got it you can’t fix your Mecalac, Terex, Terex/JCB dumper and that means it doesn’t earn any money.

I would like to think this is the last move for Mecalac spare parts. I’m not a betting man but I would be willing to bet a half-eaten Mars bar and a 25 pence PES gift voucher that within 5 years that Nomad will be loading his camel again and trotting off into the sunset to find a new home for Mecalac spare parts.
