I absolutely love the EC18E Volvo machine. In the 1 ½ ton category class of Excavator this machine packs a serious punch. When you’re operating it, it feels like a much bigger machine with its spacious cab, great reach capacity and large travel pedals (fitted as standard).
It also comes as standard with 2 speed tracking and a variable width under carriage. There is lots of floor foot space within the cab as the machines offset and hammer circuit is operated by a proportional rocker switch on the right joy stick. This allows for slew and offset at the same time.
Another great asset to this machine is the ability for the operator to store the bottom front kick glass with the front window when it is stowed up and above the operator’s head. This makes it secure and free from accidental knocks and breakages!
This machine has 4 tie down points on each corner which makes it easy to secure to a trailer or lorry for transportation.
Accessing the engine for routine maintenance is easy, the fuel tank is inbuilt within the rear door which not only leads to easy refuelling but also direct access to all filters. This machine also has an easy to remove side panel which makes it even easier to reach all parts of the engine.
We have sold many of these models to operators in the Devon, Cornwall and Channel Islands area as they tick a lot of boxes.
