Well, it has arrived. A dolphin and environmentally friendly site mixer that has the same output as a normal one. The Winget 100Te (I hope you like the little green e to signify it credentials) is a 110v 100 litre (or 5/3.5 in old money) mixer that has an electric motor rather than a Yanmar diesel engine to turn the drum. And guess what? Unlike a Tesla or other electric car its cheaper that the diesel equivalent!!!
So now you don’t have to put up with an air-cooled diesel engine banging away in your ear all day, you save money on the purchase and can buy cider instead, dolphins around the world will be smiling and cheering your name and the Brucey Bonus is……………..Just Stop Oil won’t rock up at your site throwing orange powder everywhere screaming that you’re killing the planet. Oh, and you won’t go to prison for 6 months when you chin one of the aforementioned protestors.
I think the fact that your stress levels will go down when you don’t have to put up with a labourer using a bucket he’s just mixed some compo up in to fill the diesel mixer up with is more than enough reason to buy an electric one.
