Thanks again to Mr Martin Chatfield for his repeat business. Martin has just received his brand new Volvo EC27D Excavator. This machine will be used in the Woodland Burial business as well as general duties around the farm in their lovely mid Devon setting.
This 3 ton class Excavator was supplied with the longer reaching dipper arm and runs on 300mm rubber tracks. The spacious cab interior offers lots of floor space as the booms off set and machine accessories are all controlled by a proportional rocker switch on the right hand joy stick, therefore there is no need for any extra big clumsy foot controls!
A heated cab, engine auto idle, blue tooth radio and hydraulic quick hitch are a few other extras also added to this machine.
The EC27D also boasts a great working environment. When the hot summer days finally get here, for better ventilation, the bottom front kick glass is easily removed and is clipped into the main window above the operators head, safely stowed away from any breakages!
Our workshop also fitted a pair of hydraulic taps to the top of the boom to divert oil away from the bucket when the machine uses their log grab during timber production.
