March provided a variety of destinations for the sale of Yanmar TNV and Yanmar LV engines by PES. As well as being the largest stockists and suppliers of Yanmar engines for re-power purposes (to replace existing engines not new applications) in the UK, because of the strength of our knowledge and unparalleled levels of stocking and service, PES attract enquiries from all over the world. In March we have supplied Yanmar TNV engines to Ghana, France, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Ireland as well as the UK, and have supplied Yanmar LV air-cooled engines to Columbia and Poland.

It just goes to prove that to survive in today’s digital world a strong on-line presence is required to make it easy for people around the world to find you easily. Once they’ve found you and you provide a good level of service these customers in far-flung places tell other people and your reputation helps other customers grow in confidence in buying Yanmar TNV and Yanmar LV engines from you. After all, we are asking them to pay for things in advance and then ship them half way round the world, often by sea freight so it takes months to arrive. How many times in the past have unscrupulous traders exported stuff only for the customer to find instead of a brand new Yanmar engine in a crate they have an old, knackered engine or even worse, a crate containing an empty packet of cornflakes.

As the largest stockists of Yanmar TNV engines in the UK we like to think that we would have a solution to replace your existing Yanmar engine wherever you are on the globe. The world has become a much smaller place and the cost of shipping, in real terms, has drastically reduced and the speed of delivery increased compared to 20 years ago making the export of Yanmar TNV engines and Yanmar LV engines to anywhere in the world a much more simple process than it was.

So, as the venerable Ian Dury said in his ‘hit me with your rhythm stick’ lyrics:

“In the deserts of Sudan

And the gardens of Japan

From Milan to Yucatan

Every woman, every man

Hit me with your invoice for your Yanmar engine

Hit me, hit me.”

Forgive me Ian, he didn’t say that really but it’s a great song and a great set of lyrics!!!
